Today is the 85th anniversary of the death of the Venerable Matt Talbot, although his "Remembrance Day" is typically noted on June 19.
"Lord, as you did with Venerable Matt Talbot, help us to overcome all attachments and addictions that are self-destructive. Make us a new creation. Amen."
