A Presentation About Matt Talbot at the 2018 World Meeting of Families

On the evening of 23 August 2018 at the World Meeting of Families in Dublin, Fr. Pope Francis recognizes the difficulties encountered by families with members suffering from drug addiction. The Holy Father calls it “one of the scourges of our time, causing immense suffering and even breakup for many families. The same is true of alcoholism, gambling and other addictions.

This presentation discusses the challenges facing families that have been confronted by drug addiction and turns to the life of the Venerable Matt Talbot to see if there is anything that they can learn from his journey.
